Frequently Asked Questions

Do you sterilise your instruments?

Yes – all instruments are sterilised using an autoclave and stored in sealed pouches until your treatment. This ensures the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

How long does a treatment take?

On average a routine appointment usually lasts around 30 minutes. Initial consultations may take up to 45 minutes as we go through your medical history and discuss your foot health needs.

Do I need to do anything before my appointment?

No preparation is needed. Please just make sure your feet are clean and free from nail polish if possible. I’ll bring everything else required for your treatment.

Can you treat people with diabetes?

Yes – I am trained and experienced in diabetic foot care. I will check your feet carefully and provide safe, gentle treatment with tailored advice for ongoing care.

What areas do you cover?

I provide mobile foot care in Wickham and surrounding areas of Hampshire. If you’re unsure whether I cover your area, please get in touch and I’ll be happy to advise.

How much does it cost?

Routine care is £35 for a 30-minute session. An initial consultation is £40 for 45 minutes. Specialist treatments (such as verruca treatment) are priced separately—please see the Services page for details.

How do I pay?

Payment can be made by cash or bank transfer at the time of your appointment.

What if I need to cancel or reschedule?

Life happens! Please give me at least 24 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or change your appointment, so I can offer the slot to someone else.

What kind of foot problems do you treat?

I can help with:

  • Hard skin and calluses

  • Corns

  • Thickened or difficult nails

  • Verrucae

  • General foot care and maintenance

If you have a more complex problem, I can advise and refer you to your GP or podiatry services if needed.
